Regional Sales Manager

Successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to develop and execute effective sales plans to expand Espey's presence in the assigned region. Must have the ability to travel a minimum of 25% with normal expectation of 50% and on occasions, up to 75%. Minimum of 10 years experience in the following markets; Military power supplies, ground vehicles, power transformers, and other complex electronic assemblies. Candidate will be familiar with the following government agencies; TACOM, TARDEC, RDECOM. Candidate will be familiar with the following companies; GDLS, BAE, Osh Kosh, Navistar, AM General, Marvin Land Systems, etc. Active security clearance or recent approval a plus. BSEE or equivalent education. EOE.

Electrical Power Supply Design Engineer

The successful candidate shall have demonstrated ability in delivering power supply designs and products that meet customer expectations. The individual must be able to design using various topologies and techniques to achieve high power density, high reliability, rugged, manufacturable power supplies for military and industrial applications. He or she will have demonstrated abilities in switch-mode power supply design, P-spice and similar analysis tools, along with experience in power packaging and layout.

Required Attributes

• BSEE

• Minimum of 5 years experience in power supply design

• Efficient execution of designs, similar to Espey’s products, to meet military or customer specifications while maintaining profitability.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, writing proposals and technical reports, developing “Design-for-Mfg” rules, creating schematics, and presenting Preliminary and Critical Design Review presentations using effective communication techniques.

• Work with technicians to build breadboards on the bench, perform bench testing, and lead the layout design of printed circuit assemblies.

• Ability to work with others, work efficiently under pressure, meet agreed upon deadlines, lead or be a member of a team, delegate, and be self-driven

Desired Attributes

• Experience in working both at a project level and with the details of the design.

• Demonstrated Experience in going from a customer concept or specification to fully verified and qualified hardware.

• Shall demonstrate that they are schedule and cost conscious by favoring proven design solutions and components over un-proven solutions requiring risky invention or innovation.

• Capable and familiar with performing circuit simulation using software such as Pspice or Microcap and efficient in performing hand calculations when needed.

• Capable and familiar with choosing all electrical components keeping in mind proper derating guidelines.

• Follow proper thermal management techniques when choosing a design methodology or component.

Production Manager

Plans, directs, and coordinates the production activities required to produce an array of manufactured goods. Ensure that production meets output and quality goals while remaining within budget. Knowledge and or experience with transformers a plus. Engineering degree and 5-7 years experience required. Salary to commensurate with experience.

Porter

$10.53 / hr - $12.83 / hr - Keeps assigned areas of office and/or factory clean, including the washrooms. Collects and disposes rubbish. Keeps entrances of assigned areas free of debris and snow during winter.



LS II

$10.70 / hr - $13.30 / hr - The major purpose of this position is to solder together components, bobbins, and terminal boards. Also assemble fabricated metal items as specified by work orders, diagrams or layouts. Will be using hand tools such as screwdrivers, wire cutters, pliers and soldering irons.
