The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 5 years experience in project/program management, with increasing levels of responsibility, program value and complexity. Candidate must have demonstrated the ability to lead a program lifecycle, from concept through delivery. Strong disciplines in customer development, scheduling, Stage Gate management, and program financial management are required.
The ideal candidate will be required to lead the development of a technical proposal and transition to program execution using proposal artifacts. Emphasis will be placed on requirement management, risk management and the ability to lead a team to meet demanding schedule and budget constraints.
Demonstrated Knowledge of U.S. Government contracting including FAR/DFAR is required for this position.
Candidate must have excellent communication skills with both internal and external customers. The candidate must have a strong understanding of accounting, contracts, supply chain, engineering, and manufacturing principles. An understanding of export regulations is beneficial. Must be detail oriented and have the ability to work in a fast paced, high demand environment, be a self-starter and capable of working independently and with all departments to meet customer requirements. BS in business or engineering, or equivalent experience in the military sales, power supply and/or transformers industry is preferred. Program Management Institute PMP certification is a plus.
