The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 10 years’ experience in program management and have experience with Department of Defense contracting. Candidate must possess the ability to lead the program lifecycle, from cradle to grave, including an understanding of the development of technical proposals, SOW, PDR and CDR, risk management and mitigation strategies including continuous improvement strategies to improve efficiencies and reduce costs. Candidate must have excellent communication skills both orally and in writing. The candidate must have a good understanding of accounting, contracts, supply chain, engineering, and manufacturing principles, an understanding of export regulations is beneficial. Must be detail oriented and have the ability to work in a faced paced, high demand environment, be a self-starter and capable of working independently and with all departments to meet customer requirements. Previous FARS/DFARS experience required. BS in business or electrical technology field, or equivalent experience in the military sales, power supply and/or transformers industry is preferred. Program Management Institute PMP certification is a plus.
