Test Engineer

Job Description: Must have BSEE and 3+ years’ experience with transformer protection, transformer control design, transformer diagnostics, transformer testing and troubleshooting (esp. in manufacturing environment). Ideal candidate is able to test, maintain, repair, troubleshoot, monitor, and operate high voltage electrical systems including transformers, switching stations, circuit breakers (& possibly others). Analyze test data to provide diagnostic solutions/establish procedures & corrective actions, while working from instructions, drawings, proposals, specifications, etc. Consult with engineering to ensure criteria are suitable for the proposed application, recommend revisions as needed, and provide technical support to customers. Must have ability to obtain a secret security clearance.

Mechanical Design Engineer

Job Description: Must have B.S. in Mechanical Engineering, with 2+ years’ related experience. Responsibilities include researching, designing, analyzing and performing electro-mechanical layouts for high and low voltage electronic military and industrial equipment.  Will perform structural, thermal, and fluid analysis to optimize electronic equipment.  Design and develop custom fixtures to assist in manufacturing, testing or qualification of units.  Coordinate mechanical activities such as drawing package completions, fabrication, and general product quality improvement.

Administrative Assistant

Job Description: The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years’ administrative experience, proficiency with all Microsoft applications, strong organizational, communication, problem solving and data entry skills. Transformer/Power Design Conversion Engineer

Job Description: BS in Electrical Engineering with experience and desire to design AC Power electronics products: transformers, filters and rectifying systems from 1 kilowatt to 1 megawatt. Experience with designing 60Hz magnetic components in high reliability or military applications desired. Requires US citizenship and ability to obtain US Security clearance. 5+ years related experience desired. Experience with magnetic FEA software such as Ansoft Maxwell is a definite plus.

Power Supply Design Engineer

Job Description: The successful candidate must possess a BSEE and have 5+ years€™ experience and demonstrated ability in developing and supporting power supply designs and products for high reliability and military applications. Experience with power levels >1KW, AC-DC, DC-DC, DC-AC. The individual must understand and be able to develop switch-mode power supplies using various topologies and techniques to achieve an efficient, reliable, EMI/EMC compliant design. Experience with rugged/military designs, thermal packaging and layout of power electronics is required. The candidate will be expected to thrive in a small company atmosphere where they will be involved with proposing solutions to customer specifications, through development, test and production support of power conversion products.
