Espey designs and manufactures medium voltage dry-type power transformers up to 2.5MVA air-cooled and liquid cooled. Espey transformers are used in military, heavy industrial, severe environment, and high reliability applications. Espey is familiar with the design and qualification requirements typical for military and harsh environment applications: MIL-T-15108C(Navy), MIL-S-901D, Grade A (HI-Impact Shock), MIL-STD-167-1 (Vibration), MIL-STD-740-1 (Airborne noise), MIL-STD-740-2 (Structure – borne noise), ABS-NVR, IEC and IEEE Specifications. Espey is experienced in supplying engineering analysis services related to power transformer design and manufacture. Espey maintains all facilities of a power transformer manufacturer, along with the capabilities of a power conversion and power systems design and manufacturing facility.
